Since 1930, Pow Laboratories has been a family owned and operated business. E.J Pow started the company as a single “dental mechanic” and through passion, perseverance and a clear vision he laid the foundation of the company that is now located at 63 Ridgeway Circle, Woodstock ON.
Robert Pow, second generation President followed in his father’s footsteps joining the company in 1966. In 1969, Ian Gibson RDT joined the company as Vice President. The company’s market expanded to Southwestern and South Ontario. Pow Laboratories had locations in Woodstock, Windsor, Guelph, St.Catherines and Toronto.

Chris Pow B.Sc.,(Eng) third generation President, continues to grow the company with a skilled team of over 90 employees. Pow Laboratories employees are a combination of George Brown graduates, Las Vegas Institute Trained Ceramists and individuals from our community that have trained to become some of the highest skilled technicians in our field.
As a full service dental laboratory in South Western Ontario we offer all disciplines of Crown & Bridge, Implants, Dentures, Frameworks and Orthodontic Appliances. Over the last 90 years, the dental industry has seen tremendous growth with the introduction of CAD/CAM technology and high esthetic applications. Having our operations in one central location provides us the opportunity to invest in the future and continue to be a valuable resource for your practice. CAD/CAM offers improved production efficiencies, connect ability to virtually anywhere in the world and consistencies in quality. Matched with the skills, applications and quality of our skilled workforce we provide a strong partnership with your practice.
Our clients consist of General Practitioners, Orthodontists, Denturists, Prosthodontists and Universities. A key connection in working with you is to understand the needs of your practice, what products best match your treatment planning, your design specific requests and establishing method of communication.
Our Customer Relations department is equipped with eleven delivery cars that offer daily personal delivery service to most major centres in Southwestern Ontario. Outside our delivery area we are pleased to offer 24 hour courier services using Purolator or ICS.
Additional services that we offer are Continuing Education for the Doctors, Denturists and Staff, Chairside Assistance by our Technicians, Custom Shading/Staining and Implant Tools, Treatment Quotes, Lunch and Learns and Case Consultations. In the dental community we also support Industry Events and Education to the ODA, DIAC, and DAO organizations. We are proud to support local community initiatives, events and were recognized by our efforts in winning the Chamber Commerce Award of Outstanding Achievement in 2011.
